Disability bloggers quoted on CNN
Earlier this week, David at Growing up with a Disability, Penny of Disability Studies, Temple U., and Nufsaid at Ramblings were noted by CNN for their blogging against the Ashley Treatment from their perspectives of personal experience. I believe I've linked to my friends' writings on this before, but it's so good to see them as part of the national debate. The CNN article here.

And the thing is, it's a post that I wrote pretty quickly, and it's not a typical post for DS,TU at all, but since CNN's website linked to us, we've had skyrocketing hourly visitor counts. I guess if even a handful of those hundreds of clicking modems come back and read more, click through some of the links to other good blogs, it's pretty cool. (I'm not loving the dozens of anonymous comments using words like "turnip" and "doorstop," though.)
Great story. I posted it verbatim on Disability Alert with links back to everyone mentioned.
