Things that crack me up, #25
Finally, some recognition that we have friends that need venue seating too.
Visual description: Two ordinary Western-style toilets, one with the seat up, spaced at most a yard apart. There's a roll of toilet paper on the back tank of each and a waste basket on the floor between. Some long stripey curtains are half drawn to hide these toilets, and a sign above the curtain rod these curtains rest on reads "For the HANDICAPPED."

Aside from the surprise of finding two commodes (choices!), it doesn't look like there are any support bars that would really make either of these accessible.
What's even more frightening is that at one of the AbilitiesExpos I've been to, the toilet situation was similar to that in the women's bathrooms. It was horrific.
I had to use a toilet like this on the day I took my GMAT, only there wasn't enough room for my chair inside the curtain, and every time sometime came or left the restroom, the curtain would balloon out. "Hi everyone! Just me and my bare ass back here!" As if getting into grad school wasn't stressful enough.
